- A knock or clunk over bumps or on turns, a floaty or bouncy ride, the nose diving when you brake, uneven tyre wear, or the car wandering on the freeway. Worn shocks, bushes, ball joints and control arms all show up this way, and the hoist tells us which.
- How much does suspension repair cost?
- It is priced per part, and the part depends on the car. A pair of shocks, a set of bushes and a control arm are all different jobs. We put it on the hoist, find the worn part, show you, and quote the job before any work, GST included. You approve it first.
- Will worn suspension fail a roadworthy?
- It can. Leaking shocks, worn ball joints, split bushes and play in a control arm are all on the QLD safety certificate checklist. If you are selling the car, it is worth sorting first.
- How long does it take?
- Most shock, bush and control arm jobs are done the same day once the parts are in. Wait in the lounge with coffee and a PlayStation 5, or drop the car and we text you when it’s ready.
